  • March is a wonderful time in Goa: after the business of the high season there are less tourists and more space. We chose this date so that you'll get a calm and relaxing experience and at the same time enjoy the magic of India.

  • All the huts and cabanas have AC and fans, and we're right on the beach, so we also have the refreshing breeze from the ocean. 

  • Enjoy amazing food, yoga, swim in the ocean and take a siesta in a hammock, book a massage... if you'd like to do some shopping or explore more of Goa, you have a day off and we can arrange taxis for you to visit markets and other beaches. 

  • You'll get lots time to reconnect with your yoga practice and useful tools for self-enquiry. Optional: daily time and space to support reflection and journaling. Our intention is to spark your inspiration to take back home.

  • Also included: a tailored workshop based on what you request!

  • Delicious vegetarian food: light breakfast, brunch, afternoon snacks and dinner

  • 12 yoga classes and a workshop. All is optional – if you prefer to take a day off and just relax on the beach instead of doing yoga that is also fine!

  • A Continuing Hours Certificate (if you're a yoga teacher)

Extra nights

If you’d like to add extra nights before or after the retreat, just let us know and we’ll help you to book extra nights either at the venue (subject to availability) or at a hotel of your choice. 

 
 

Booking information

To book:

2) We’ll get back to you within 48 hours with an invoice for the deposit. Please note that your space is not confirmed until we have received your deposit, so please don’t book your flight tickets until you have received a booking confirmation. 

Payments: 
1) £300 (British Pounds, GBP) to reserve your space. 
2) The remaining balance is due 31 October 2024.

We offer non-dogmatic and inspiring classes, suitable for all levels. We always give options, and the classes are easy to adjust for your energy level each day. We’re here to support you, not to judge you.

How to get there

It’s easy: just get a flight to Goa and Bamboo can arrange a pickup and drop off at the airport. 
Goa has two airports. The closest airport is GOI Dabolim (less than 2 hours by taxi) but you can also fly to GOX Mopa (less than 3 hours by taxi).

Accommodation

Built using local organic materials, our beach cabanas and huts are simple and stylish, comfortable, private and eco-friendly. Located just steps from the beach, they are designed to help you reconnect with nature. Whether lying in the hammock on your balcony, or falling asleep to the sound of the waves, the normal stresses of life melt away and you will feel open to a more profound yoga practice.

All the huts and cabanas have AC & fans. Both are super comfortable. The difference between them is that the cabanas are boutique hotel style and a bit bigger, and the huts are more affordable.

– 8.30 – 10.15 am Morning flow yoga class, pranayama/breathing practice & meditation

Practical information

Closer to time you’ll get an email with everything you need to know for your journey, including a packing list and what you need to do (book your flight, get your visa, get a travel insurance). Traveling to India is NOT complicated: we’ve done it lots of time so we’ll give you our top tips on everything from travel to staying healthy. 
The food at Bamboo is safe. If you eat out we will you recommendations for good places to go.

We have over 45 years of teaching experience between us, teaching yoga full time, all over the world. We balance our experience with a passion for keeping up to date with modern development in neuroscience, psychology and movement science and how all that affects our yoga practice and overall wellbeing. In our holidays we offer a mix of fun, learning and rejuvenation.

The workshop gives you 3 hours YACEP (www.yogaalliance.org) and YAP (www.yogaallianceprofessionals.org)

We’ll tailor the workshop to be relevant both for practitioners and teachers, and there will be optional discussion groups about teaching dilemmas such as lack of inspiration, lack of energy, how to get more students to sign up for your classes etc.
