Seeking inspiration for your yoga classes? Learn the art of Theming!

Preparing yoga classes and choreographing new sequences can be fun – but time consuming.

In this workshop you’ll learn how to work with philosophical and physical themes, which makes both teaching and practicing more inspiring.

It gives you the skills to re-use your favourite yoga sequences over and over again, whenever you want – and still give the students a fresh perspective and a new focus for each class.

We will share our secrets on how to give the students a yoga experience beyond just asanas. You will learn how to authentically weave in themes into your classes, to inspire your students and creatively introduce yogic concepts in an accessible and meaningful way.

All the theory sessions are in English – but we often have many Swedes joining us so there’ll be the option to go into Swedish speaking breakout rooms during the exercises if you like – and the course workbook is available both in English and Swedish: just let Jennie know which language you prefer and she’ll send it to you as a PDF.

“Using themes saves me so much time and energy! I used to make a new yoga sequence for each class and even though I enjoyed it, it often stressed me out: it felt like I had to come up with something new for each class to make sure the students didn’t get bored… Nowadays I often reuse my favourite sequences and just tweak them a bit – and focus on using a new theme for each class instead – and the students LOVE it! Last week we focused on transitions – both between poses and transitions in life – and I got amazing feedback. Thank you so much Jennie for all the tools you have given me!”

“Thank you so much for a fantastic day. I’m still buzzing! It was so much more than “just” a workshop: thank you for creating this safe space. I loved the brainstorming and that we got support both from you and from other teachers. Having a community is so important!”
